We are ready!

We have arrived at St. Bees  railway station, and have completed the important preliminaries.

Photos have been taken, stones selected and feet attended to.

These boots were made for walking
and that's just what they'll do......

The serious business of selecting a stone to take across England to be thrown into the North Sea at Robin Hood's Bay.

Gray, can't I just take a couple of extras?

Joan's rock that will be thrown in the North Sea.   It's the smaller one!

Toes ready for the socks and
Into the boots.

Are you ready boots?  Start walkin...
Our starting point - Ground Zero
To begin the walk you must firstly dip your boots in the Irish Sea and then head for St Bees Head.  That's it behind us.

And off we go. Robin Hoods Bay, here we come...

  1. Awesome! The weather there looks better than our torrents and gales over the weekend.
